The trail from Oxbow Drive to Lickinghole Creek needs attention. We will trimming back grass, weeds, and overhanging branches, using hand tools and string trimmers, possibly a lawn mower. Our goal is to get it in pristine shape for a guided trail walk that afternoon.
Meet at the trailhead in Chesterfield Landing (opposite 5436 Oxbow Drive, look for the trail sign on the east side of the street) at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1. Bring your own tools or use ours. Dress for the weather, bring water. Wear sturdy shoes or boots. Long pants and bug spray highly recommended. Under 18 must be accompanied by parent/guardian.
