Next Work Day – September 28
We only have one more bridge to finish repairs on the Crozet trails! We have had fantastic participation from our Crozet trail users and lovers, plus help from Albemarle County Parks and Rec, and we’ve made great progress.
Please be careful when using the temporary bridges, and pay attention to warning signs as construction continues. The Trails Crew and Albemarle Parks & Rec are working together to get the repairs finished as quickly as we can. And don’t worry, our plans include removing all the debris left from the flood.

Repairing the heavy damage is coming with a cost. We have created a special donation form and we appreciate the continued support for our community.

The first phase requires one or two people on Wednesday, February 21, to cut lumber. Sign up here to meet at the Miyamoto’s home at 9:00 a.m., address will be supplied. We need people who are comfortable using a power saw.
The big day of construction will be the morning of Saturday, February 24, at the eastern end of Ashlar Avenue (behind the Lodge at Old Trail). If you have a cordless impact driver or drill, please bring it, as well as star (torx) bits if you have them.
Activities include:
Site preparation using string trimmers, loppers, etc.
