Work Days Wednesday, August 2 & Saturday, August 5

Trail Clearing in Westhall on Saturday, 8/5

We will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, to clear up the southwest section of the Crozet Connector Trail. We will use mowers, string trimmers, pruners and loppers to beat back weeds and vines, with the goal of clearing from Nicolet Court down to Lickinghole Creek, then west to where the trail ends at the creek and east to the cow pasture. Use our tools or bring your own favorite.

Meet at the Nicolet Court trailhead. Long pants and sleeves recommended, as well as work gloves and bug spray; wear sturdy shoes or boots (no sandals or flipflops). Bring your own water.

Please review our safety guidelines before joining a work day.

Sign up here so we know how many tools to bring and so we can contact you if weather requires a postponement. But feel free to show up even if you don’t sign up. Come when you can, leave when you must!

If you are driving, use the address 5937 Nicolet Ct., Crozet, in your GPS to navigate to the meeting area. Please do not block mailboxes or driveways.
