Trail work at the end of the day. Work will begin at 6:00 p.m. and be finished no later than 7:30 p.m.
We will mow, prune and weed-whack the trail from Rowcross Street to as far north as we can get, along Lickinghole Creek. Folks who can handle mowers and string trimmers are needed, as well as pruning, lopping, and possibly trash collection.
Watch our Facebook page for cancellation in case of thunderstorms.
Following our trail work we will have a “Cool Down” period at Starr Hill Brewery for anyone who is interested in combining a little social time with their trail work.
Recommended: long pants and long sleeves, sturdy shoes, a hat and bug spray. Bring water. We have tools, or bring your own. Children welcome if accompanied by a parent.
Location: Rowcross St & Byward St in Old Trail
Directions: Take Old Trail Drive to the traffic circle where Golf Drive intersects (just south of the commercial block) and take Golf Drive toward the east (away from the golf club). At the end, turn right on Rowcross St. and drive past Byward St. to our meeting place just beyond.
