Also: We frequently have smaller work days on weekday mornings. If you’d like to be notified of them, send us a note asking to be added to the mid-week work group.
About Work Days: Our work days are very flexible — we can find tasks for anyone who can get on the trail. No experience required! We love families and community groups, as long as children under 18 years old are accompanied by a parent or guardian. We recommend long pants, socks, long sleeves, and bug spray because Virginia is a welcoming home to ticks, mosquitoes, and poison ivy.
Note about cancellations: We seldom cancel a work day because of weather, and in the summer sometimes welcome a drizzly day over hot sun. But if the weather seems dangerous, cancellations will be announced on our Facebook page about an hour before the scheduled start.
