Work Day – June 9

Pruning and trimming the Connector Trail from Foothill Crossing and then both east and west along the trail. Meet at the Foothill Crossing trailhead, on Park Ridge Drive just south of the intersection with Raven Stone Rd.
Directions: Three Notch’d Road east from Crozet to Park Ridge Dr. Turn right, pass three streets, and trail entrance is on the left, marked with a Greenways sign.
Our Saturday work days are scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. and finish about 11 or 12:00. But feel free to come and spend as much time as you are able. Bring your kids — kids we’ve had at recent work days have a great time. No special knowledge or gear is required. Wear sturdy shoes and gloves, bring water, and use our tools or bring your own. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
