The Connecting Communities 2024 Raffle
Jim Mandell hand crafted this bench from salvaged storm-downed local Albemarle County wood. Jim generously donated this bench to the Crozet Trails Crew to support our Connecting Communities campaign to build a pedestrian bridge connecting the trails from Westhall to Cory Farm, Sparrow Hill and Chesterfield Landing.
This all wood construction bench features a black walnut top and ebonized red oak bench legs. Jim used a rosewood check joint hand crafted from a piece carried back a suitcase from Africa by a close friend.
Watch the Crozet Trails Crew social media channels for your chance to buy raffle tickets for this one of a kind amazing piece. The bench is currently on display at the Crozet Artisan Depot.
