Twilight Trail Work: Prune and Trim around Dog Park and East
September 18, 2019 @ 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Trail work at the end of the day. Work will begin at 6:00 p.m. and be finished no later than 7:30 p.m.
We will mow, prune and weed-whack the trails on both sides of the dog park in Crozet Park, then as far east as we have time. Folks who can handle mowers and string trimmers are needed, as well as pruning, lopping, and possibly trash collection.
Watch our Facebook page for cancellation in case of thunderstorms.
Following our trail work we will have a “Cool Down” period at Starr Hill Brewery for anyone who is interested in combining a little social time with their trail work.
Recommended: long pants and long sleeves, sturdy shoes, a hat and bug spray. Bring water. We have tools, or bring your own. Children welcome if accompanied by a parent.
Location: Claudius Crozet Park – trail entrance at the left side of the dog park
Directions: By car – Enter the parking lot at Crozet Park and turn right, toward the baseball fields. Then walk on the paved path past the dog park sign to the trail entrance at the far side of the dog park. If you walk or bike you can reach us on the Crozet Connector Trail; cross the pedestrian bridge to get to the dog park, then walk up hill to the right of the fence.
