CTC Workday at Creekside Trail in Old Trail

We have another exciting opportunity to complete a new section of the Creekside Trail in Old Trail.  .

We plan to meet at Birchwood Hill Rd. 10:00 a.m.

 Directions:

To get there from Jarman’s Gap, turn into Old Trail onto Old Trail Drive, continuing straight; after the first roundabout, turn Right onto Welbourne Lane, proceed through the Creekside brick entrance gates, continue straight on Welbourne Lane until you can go no further and it ‘T’ intersects with Birchwood Hill Rd. (there is a big dirt pile on your left and the road ends).   Park on left or right side.

If coming from Route 250, turn into Old Trail onto Old Trail Drive, continuing straight after going around two roundabouts, past the pool on the right, past Upper Ballard neighborhood on the left, then your next left will be Welbourne Lane.  Follow the remainder of the directions as stated above.

Be Prepared:

Because this is a new trail section there are prickers, stepping stones crossing the narrow creek and off camber ground, so please wear sturdy shoes and bring a pair of work gloves.
