Next Work Day – September 28
We only have one more bridge to finish repairs on the Crozet trails! We have had fantastic participation from our Crozet trail users and lovers, plus help from Albemarle County Parks and Rec, and we’ve made great progress.
Please be careful when using the temporary bridges, and pay attention to warning signs as construction continues. The Trails Crew and Albemarle Parks & Rec are working together to get the repairs finished as quickly as we can. And don’t worry, our plans include removing all the debris left from the flood.

Just one last bridge to finish repairs from the storm! We need people to help with construction, demolition, and carrying materials. Expect to get your feet wet.
Meet at the trailhead on Park Ridge Drive between Raven Stone Rd and Cardinal Crest Ct. at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28. Feel free to come even if you don’t sign up, but if you do sign up we can contact you in case something (like weather) means we need to reschedule.
Dress for the weather, bring water. Bug spray highly recommended. Under 18 must be accompanied by parent/guardian.
IMPORTANT: Please review our safety guidelines before joining a workday and complete and sign the Volunteer Waiver Form if you have not previously done so.
